Conditions and limitations
Virginia does not list blanket electrical reciprocity with Florida. A qualifying Florida licensee may apply through Universal License Recognition after at least one year of comparable licensure and satisfaction of Virginia examination, training, good-standing and fee conditions.
Reciprocity never authorizes work before the destination authority issues the required license. Business registration, insurance, local permits and continuing education remain separate.
